Dear Confreres PARTICIPANTS AT THE GC26
Subject: Going to Turin by one’s own means of transport
Dear Chapter Members,
In reply to my letter of 30 October, in which I gave you some logistical and organisational information, you have told Fr Saimy that you will be going to Turin by your own means of transport. Some of you will come from Turin to Rome with your own means of transport or with those put at your disposal by the Generalate: cf. attachment. I now offer you some further information.
1. It is sufficient that you arrange to arrive in Turin in the courtyards of the Basilica of Mary Help of Christians on Saturday 23 February 2008 by 13.30. At 14.00 rooms will be allocated.
2. Arriving in Turin, you will have the opportunity to park your vehicle in the Valdocco courtyards, entering from the Piazza Maria Ausiliatrice 32.
3. If anyone were to need lunch, he should be aware that this is served between 12.00 and 13.30 in the Ristoro della Basilica, which is to be found within the Valdocco house. Whoever would like to avail of this service should book before hand with signor/Brother Claudio Marangio, Provincial Economer of ICP. His e-mail address is the following: cmarangio@salesiani-icp.net
4. If anyone were to be in need of overnight accommodation in Turin on Friday 22 February, he should get in contact with signor/Brother Marangio, at the same e-mail address indicated above. The time of arrival should be agreed directly with him.
I ask you to get in touch as soon as possible with signor Claudio Marangio only if you have some requirements in reference to what is mentioned above in points 3 or 4 of this letter.
Cordial greetings in Don Bosco
Fr Francesco Cereda
