IT pastoral quality EN-EN The term is found frequently in Salesian documents from Vat. II onwards, especially those of Viganò and Vecchi as Rectors Major.  It is used to refer to the quality of the Salesian mission as expressed in a community, but also in reference to individual roles e.g. the priest Mission and ministry are distinguished -we talk about the pastoral quality or the mission as exercised in practice in a community or place, under the guidance of the 'pastors'.

Pastoral quality can also be applied to a dimension of Salesian work such as the school.
