Patagonia, Tierra del Fuego. Fr Alberto Maria De Agostini spent fifty years in this mission. At the bottom of the world he carried out his mission with his skills as cartographer, explorer, mountain climber, photographer, writer. He has been able to give us the last testimony of a world that is no longer: the aboriginal world, now vanished, victims of colonisation. 100 years after his first arrival from Chile, his nephew, Giovanni De Agostini went where his Uncle had told the stories, while briefly back home for visits.
