PRAYER IN MOTION

Here you find a small personal expression that I have been invited to share. I do so willingly in order to share a little of my passion for photography with you. I offer it without pretence, and especially for free : art cannot but be free. A little bit like Love. A little bit like prayer..

Initially I thought of 'baptising' this little gallery with the the line “prayer and elevation”. But I said to myself that “elevation” is only one half of the idea. In Christ, values can be reversed, or are at least reversible. Ups and downs, then?

In this sense an 'elevation' can be like hands raised to heaven, like a father whispering into the ear of his child, like an evening at the seaside.

An 'elevation' could like the statues of saints stretching up to the heavens, or like young scouts helping a homeless person on any nameless street.

“Happy are those who are humble, for they shall be lifted up”.

Elevation, humbling… what is common is motion.

A little like Jesus always on the move, a little like children's games or like an adolsecent's prayer; a little like life's melodies.
