From 8-10 October, Salesian College Recife hosted the 15th consecutive Salesian Youth Festival. The event was organised by what is known in Portuguese as the Articulação Juventude Salesiana (AJS) or Salesian Youth Movement with the support of the north east Brazil Province BRE. Enrolments this year were estimated at more than a thousand young people, plus two other delegations (Salvador- Dom Bosco and Areia Branca).
During the Festival young people took part at Eucharistic celebrations, theatre, music and choreography and organised stalls (like a fair). The Festival also had its own communications team made up of the young people themselves, especially from Natal-Gramoré, in order to cover the event; all of which can be visited on the AJS Nordeste Blog: http://www.ajsnordeste.blogspot.com/, where you can revisit all the materials of the Festival, along with many more photos and vídeos.
Young people reported on the Festival During the 15th Salesian Youth Festival, young people from Natal Gramoré and other locations took up the task of real-time coverage, professionally and with quality. All material produced was published with due authority, almost in real time, on the AJS Nordeste Blog: www.ajsnordeste.blogspot.com/ and on the AJS Gramoré website: www.ajsgramore.com/
