Subject: Information for those taking part in the GC27
Dear participants in the GC27,
I hope you are keeping well. I am writing to give you some information about your participation in the GC27.
1. The GC27 begins in Turin on Feb. 22, 2014, Saturday, with a pilgrimage to the Salesian holy places. You should arrive in Rome at the latest by Feb. 21, Friday; accommodation will be available to you at the “Salesianum” in Rome, starting a few days earlier, viz. from Feb. 18.
Those who wish to arrive directly in Turin without passing through Rome can proceed to Valdocco, making sure to arrive there not before Feb. 22, Saturday; lunch there is scheduled for 13.00. The pilgrimage begins from Valdocco at 15.30 with the departure by pullman for Valsalice.
Whether you choose to arrive in Rome or in Turin, please fill the form “My travel arrangements for the GC27” and send it as soon you can to Fr. Saimy: sezhanikatt@sdb.org
2. I am sending you another form that asks for your personal data. Could you kindly fill this form as well and make sure it reaches Fr. Saimy by Sept. 20, 2013 together with a digital passport photo of yourself?
3. Those who need a letter of invitation to obtain a visa for Italy should send to Fr. Maraccani: fmaraccani@sdb.org the first page of their passport in digital pdf format together with the date on which they expect to arrive in Italy. If you have a doubt about whether you need a visa to enter Italy, you can look up internet: http://www.esteri.it/visti/
