Who are we?

Where are we?

On the night of 9 April, 1886, Don Bosco dreamed of the growth of the Salesian works along an axis that traversed the world from South America to China. As if from above, the Madonna made him see the main cities of the future Salesian missions. He recalls: Mary, said: now draw a single line from one extremity to the other, from Peking to Santiago, traversing the centre of Africa and you will have an exact idea of how much work the Salesians have yet to do. (MB XVIII p. 72-74)

The points highlighted on the map above indicate the Salesian Provinces today - each of them has works in the service of poor youth.
